The National  Disaster Management Authority has released its Guidelines on Management of Earthquakes.  The Guidelines for Management of Earthquakes, prepared by NDMA, was released by Shri Shivraj Patil, the Hon’ble Home Minister, in the presence of Shri Kapil Sibal, Hon’ble Minister for Science and Technology and Earth Sciences and Gen. NC Vij, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM (Retd.) Hon’ble Vice Chairman, NDMA and Prof. N. Vinod Chandra Menon, Member, NDMA at Hall No.4, Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on 16 May 2007.  This function was attended by Secretaries to Govt. of India, Relief Commissioners, Resident Commissioners  of State Governments and other eminent experts in the field of Earthquake Management
