NDMA on 15.03.2022 holds 'National Webinar on Heatwave with all vulnerable states and experts from, India Meteorological Department, Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar, SDMA Bihar, Government of Bihar to take stock of preparedness for the upcoming heatwave season.

With this National Disaster Management Authority, India initiates efforts well in advance of the #Heatwave season. The workshop is aimed at sensitising States to the need for preparing and implementing their Heatwave Action Plans in line with the National Disaster Management Authority, India 's ‘Guidelines for Preparation of Action Plan – Prevention and Management of Heatwave’.
