NDMA in collaboration with Tamil Nadu State Disaster Management Authority organized the 1st ever Regional Conclave on Disaster Management during March 08-09, 2022 including 11 coastal States/UT Administration.
The core objective of the said conclave focused on the institutional strengthening of the SDMA's, deliberations over the best practices, scientific and technological interventions involved in disaster management, cross-learning and knowledge sharing amongst States and thus improving their capacities, resources and functions.
11 Coastal States/Islands of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, Goa, Andaman & Nicobar Island, Dadar and Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, Lakshadweep and Puducherry participated in the conclave.
